Responsibilities
•Overview: A Mitigation Technician works in the field performing various jobs and tasks with the direction of the Lead Technician
•Reports to the Emergency Services Operations Manager
•Assist in water damage projects, carpet cleaning/floor cleaning projects, and Fire and Smoke damage projects
•Extract water from flooded structures using extraction equipment
•Assist on job site production to include water extraction, demolition, use of hand tools, power tools, general cleanup, equipment maintenance, facility maintenance, moving of goods and supplies through the warehouse production process, etc
•Possibly conduct demolition after a fire, water/flood, sewage, mold or storm damages
•Remove carpets, carpet pads, drywall, and insulation
•Haul debris from job site to truck and occasional moving customer contents away from the work area as needed
•Monitor moisture levels on the job site and record data
•Set, move and monitor humidifiers, air movers, air scrubbers and other equipment to the job site
•Set up negative air in affected work areas for containment
•Efficiently and effectively install containment
•Handle water extraction and removal of water-damaged materials
•Communicate a positive image of the company to the entire staff and customers
•Apply all safety rules and regulations and prevent workplace hazards
•Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
•8 hour shift plus weekends when needed.

Qualifications
•Organized and detail-oriented
•Valid state driver’s license
•Hard-working team player who can easily adapt to changing needs
•Reliable - Must be available for on-call shifts
•Problem solver
•Must be able to lift 50lbs
•Background check required
•Full time with overtime
