Gastroenterology Associates, PC is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse to join our team in our Surgery Center to help drive patient success in our community. We are searching for a passionate Full Time RN that will work Monday through Friday from 7:00am – 3:30pm. No nights, weekends, or on calls! A Registered Nurse that draws their joy from giving care to others – someone who understands patient vulnerability and their own ability to impact someone’s experiences and make them great.

What you will do:

  • Assess and evaluate patient needs to provide supportive care before, during and after procedures.
  • Initiate IVs for patient sedation prior to the procedures.
  • Administer medications in accordance with physicians’ orders.
  • Participate in patient education pre and post procedure.
  • Provide patient education and instruction.

What you bring:

  • Registered nurse license.
  • Maintains current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Certification and ACLS.
  • Membership in local, state, and national societies is encouraged.
  • Solid nursing background, concentration, or willingness to obtain advanced knowledge in GI specialty.
  • Priority setting, application of judgment, communication skill and tact.
