We are seeking an entry-level Environmental Engineer to work on federal projects in Gainesville, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching case studies, field data collection, reviewing watershed planning, completing inventories of samples, sampling soils, air quality, dirt, and more, reviewing stream designs, hydraulic modeling, and compiling reports through technical writing. Current projects include a $2M 1 year project with the USDA to develop the environmental impact statement for the watershed in an area in Virgin Islands, VA, federal work, cemetery design, watershed plants, civil projects in California, VA roof designs, VA total builds and more.
This is a fully on-site position in Gainesville, Florida.
The candidate will primarily work out of the WSP office when not onsite. The work is being performed in Gainesville, FL but may require monthly travel to locations such as the Virgin Islands, CA, NJ, Connecticut, PR. All travel expenses will be covered including per diem, lodging, etc.
