Meeting Milestones Early Intervention provides developmental services to children with special needs ages birth to five in their homes or childcare facilities in Cherokee County and Spartanburg County. This position is responsible for providing ongoing service coordination to support children and their families with their developmental needs. There will be occasional face-to-face situations needed for plan meetings, but this position is primarily office based.
Duties will include: Assessments Formulating Developmental Plans Linking families with community resources Assisting families with educational needs
Our ideal team member must have a passion for serving others and great time management/organizational skills. A completed bachelors degree is required. A degree in one of the following areas is highly desired: psychology, sociology, social work, public health, early childhood/elementary education or special education. A completed degree in another area could be considered with appropriate childcare experience. Experience as an Early Interventionist or familiarity with the BabyNet system is desired. Salary is commensurate with experience.
