Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent patient service by greeting and assisting patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Perform medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing billing and insurance information
- Assist with patient care by taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with procedures
- Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Administer medications / Vaccinations as directed by healthcare providers
Skills:
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients
- Proficient in medical administrative tasks.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and protocols
- Familiarity with medical record documentation
- Understanding of medical terminology and anatomy
- Ability to accurately administer medications under the direction of healthcare providers
- Proficient in taking vital signs accurately and efficiently
This position requires a Medical Assistant certification or diploma from an accredited program. Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred.
