ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the team toward meeting established goals, objectives, and strategic plans.
• Working with the Director of Operations to develop and maintain metrics to meet established targets. Responsible for the direct procurement function supporting production operations with efficient on time direct material supply to meet operational requirements.
• Manage a portfolio of vendors and drive material supply in line with production demand.
• Ensure accurate pricing and supply data is maintained in ERP for purchases from assigned vendors. Works with procurement team to ensure effective requisition & PO management, planning, expediting, and scheduling of materials supply as required in each department.
• Conduct consistent supplier reviews with key suppliers to help maintain supplier on time delivery performance, focusing on service and delivery targets.
• Assist the Director of Operations to develop and refine procedures and practices to ensure compliance. Monitor rolling forecasts & Purchase Orders to the supply base in a timely manner to ensure flexible production planning & supply to meet production requirements.
• Assist in monitoring procurement master data to maintain alignment across all raw materials SKU' s.
• Communicate and alert operations team of material supply risks and associated recovery plans.
• Develop effective communications cadence across all departments.
• Monitor New Product introduction projects (NPI), including the approval and implementation of new product SKU's and suppliers.
• Identify opportunities to achieve positive cost savings across the supply chain through price negotiations, contract negotiations, and on-going cost down projects.
• Develop strong relationships with other internal functions including Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Production

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
• Minimum 5-8 years' experience in procurement
• Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Strong data management and analytical skills
• Adaptable, flexible, and able to work with minimum supervision while prioritizing tasks. Demonstrated knowledge of ERP processes
• Working knowledge of procurement strategies and practices, with understanding in the disciplines of material procurement within a manufacturing environment Knowledge of current FDA regulatory and ISO requirements

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be physically able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Must have the ability to walk up and down stairs repeatedly and walk extended distances as needed.
• Clarity of vision at 20 inches or more; able to view a computer monitor for extended periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• No weekends
