SUMMARY: The Facility Technician I will have daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual inspections to maintain and keep track of along with other duties as may be assigned.

DUTIES:

1. DAILY

1. Check ponds, redirect water flow, clear water ways, report security breaches – Plant 1
2. Solar system security check – Plant 1

1. WEEKLY

1. Fire pump test – Plant 1
2. Check executive fountain, – Plant 1
3. Grounds inspections (monitor work of gardener) Plant 1

1. MONTHLY

1. Forklift checks (fluids, tires, belts, safety systems, operations) – Plant 1
2. Tractor checks (fluids, tires, belts, safety systems, operations – Plant 1
3. HVAC filter inspection, replace– Plant 1
4. Clean executive fountain – Plant 1
5. Fire extinguisher inspections – Plant 1,
6. Emergency shower/eyewash inspections – Plant 1
7. Check squirrel bait stations, clean and fill– Plant 1

1. QUARTERLY

1.  Check main office gutters for cleanliness – Plant 1
2.  Solar HVAC filter change
3.  Solar HVAC coil inspection and cleaning
4. HVAC coil inspection and cleaning – Plant 1

1. SEMI – ANNUAL

3. Change lights in main office – Plant 1
4. Bike Repair – Plant 1
5. Conduct compliance measurements or tests and document data
6. Computer data input
7. Trim smaller tree limbs
8. Change sleeves in pond
9. Replace instructions on portable platform ladder, check monthly – Plant 1
10. Fill reservoirs by north pump – Plant 1
11. Fill water tank by south pump – plant 1
12. Turn off sprinklers when it is raining or forecasted to rain – Plant 1
13. Report security breaches or safety concerns
14. Other duties that may be assigned

 1. Education and/or Experience

High School diploma or GED equivalent.

 2. English Language Skills

Ability to read, write and speak English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

3. Mathematical Skills

Basic math skills are required such as the ability to calculate figures and amounts. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

4. Reasoning Ability

Ability to analyze and develop alternative solutions and present recommendations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

5. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Valid Class “C” Driver’s License required and driving record acceptable to the company.

This position requires basic mechanical skills. This position requires the ability to accomplish duties without hands on supervision.
