Locksmith/ Handyman - Fresh Meadows, Queens, NY

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Handyman with a specialization in locksmith work to join our team. As a member of our maintenance staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, security, and functionality of our property.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of locksmith tasks, including installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Respond promptly to service requests related to lockouts, broken locks and key replacements.
• Install and repair various types of locks, including deadbolts, padlocks, and keyless entry systems.
• Cut new or duplicate keys accurately using key cutting equipment and techniques.
• Collaborate with property managers, tenants, and other maintenance staff to ensure timely and effective resolution of locksmith-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Certification or training in locksmithing is highly preferred.
• Proven experience as a locksmith with a focus on residential and commercial properties.
• Strong knowledge of various types of locks, keys, security systems, and related hardware.
• Proficiency in using locksmith tools and equipment, including key cutting machines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose locksmith issues accurately.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks based on urgency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
