Gotham Enterprises is Hiring an Occupational Therapist Near Fremont, OH
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing services to our clients using substantial and specialized therapy skills,
- Initiating appropriate preventative and rehab procedures,
- Preparing and submitting timely clinical and progress notes,
- Overseeing coordination of patient services,
- Completing medical history/home safety check/environmental assessments,
- Performing continuing OASIS assessments,
- Developing individualized Plan of Care (POC) to be submitted to the physician for approval,
- Determining the medical necessity for other services,
- Evaluating patient’s ADL and iADL abilities and need for home health aide,
- Supervises HHA services and associated requirements and documentation,
- Review billing processes, including co-pay requirements, and
- Exceptional communication with clients, co-workers, and the general public.
- Successfully completed an OT Education Program accredited by the Accreditation Council for OT Education (ACOTE) of the American OT Association (AOTA) or successor organizations
- Successfully completed the entry-level certification exam for OTs from the NBCOT
- Currently licensed
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience
- Experience in the home healthcare industry (preferred)
- Organized and meticulous with an exceptional level of confidentiality and attention to detail
- Clean criminal background check and drug screening
- CPR certification
