Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities: (JD)
Maintain a safe R&D lab environment by taking on active safety roles in the R&D lab
Follow the guidelines and best practices related to lab notebooks, data storage and backup
Conduct and document inventories of chemicals and consumables in the lab
Safe handling of hazardous chemicals and canisters
Organize the lab storage
Conduct well-documented reactions, purifications, chemical fillings following established instructions
Requirements:
College student majoring in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
Excellent communication and computer skills
A team player that puts safety first
Must Have
Familiarity with water and moisture sensitive chemicals. Experience with operations inside glove boxes.
Highest Level of Education Required for this Position: B.S in chemistry or related fields
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
