Position Summary : As a Facilities / Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the overall operation and maintenance of the building, equipment, and grounds.

Your role includes managing preventative maintenance activities for product equipment, ensuring compliance with procedures and regulations, and addressing regulatory issues promptly.

Strong leadership skills are essential, and you’ll work with minimal supervision after training. Additionally, this position involves understanding and demonstrating ISO 9001 standards within daily work activities.

Skills and Experience :

• 3-5 years of experience in building and equipment maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, and control systems troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with preventative maintenance and machine repair for industrial automation equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to coordinate maintenance and service contracts.
• Proficiency with facilities management / work order software (Hippo CMMS is a plus).
• Preferred experience in a manufacturing setting.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, building repair, and HVAC.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Time and project management abilities.
• Bilingual in English / Spanish is advantageous.

Job Functions :

• Plan, schedule, and execute reactive and preventive maintenance tasks for production equipment using CMMS.
• Perform hands-on maintenance work and troubleshoot production equipment, including root cause analysis for tooling, stocking, and parts machining.
• Inspect, record, and address abnormal building and property conditions
• Ensure alignment of maintenance and facility activities with specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate between production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and oversee corrective maintenance.
• Analyze maintenance needs, schedule tasks effectively, and ensure system upkeep through proper assignment allocation.
• Make management-approved purchases of supplies, equipment, and services for the facility.
• Supervise maintenance staff, address performance / behavior issues, manage schedules, and conduct performance reviews.
• Adhere to ISO 9001, 5S, and Lean manufacturing procedures to promote cleanliness, order, and efficiency.
• Regularly report maintenance metrics and data to the Plant Manager.
• Participate in A3 activities with the Plant Manager to achieve established goals.
