AET FEDERAL INC is Hiring a SQL Database Administrator Near Frederick, MD
AET Federal is seeking an experienced MS SQL Database Administrator to work on-site for a government client providing day-to-day support, maintenance, monitoring, patching and troubleshooting for MS SQL Server supported and hosted within the Network Enterprise Center (NEC), Fort Detrick, MD. Tasks include the following:
- Operate and maintain MS SQL Server 2012 or newer (current version)
- Migrate databases from to MS SQL Server and/or vice versa
- Use and maintain MS SQL Server database performance analysis tools
- Manage database passwords for all applications
- Optimize and tune SQL queries
- Understand database Security in terms of User Roles, privileges and Responsibilities for Applications.
- Understand, Analyze and manage Log files.
Requirements:
- Must hold an Active Secret clearance (please do not apply if you only hold a Public Trust clearance)
- Must currently posses a Security Certification (Must be Active)
- Be able to commute on-site daily to Fort Detrick, MD (no remote work)
- Obtain at least 5 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in MS SQL
