Locally owned and operated medical clinic looking for a family nurse practitioner who is passionate and ready to take on an established practice.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations on patients
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as medical imaging and laboratory tests
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Provide patient education on disease prevention and management
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Experience:
- Proficient in minor medical procedures such as minor wound and minor laceration care
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth or similar
- Ability to perform basic life support in emergency situations

Requirements:
- Valid Family Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Louisiana
- Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner by a recognized certifying body (e.g., AANP or ANCC)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members
