Your knowledge and passion for remodeling a home will fill our need for a Flooring Sales Associate. Our Flooring & Remodeling business needs someone to help our customers choose products that best fits their needs. We are looking for a forward-thinking professional with knowledge in design and color for the home and have the ability to communicate effectively with customers. You will work closely with Rob and Shelly Adair, and our Sales Associates to ensure every customer leaves satisfied.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will NOT be required to visit customers' homes

Develop product knowledge concerning all of our flooring and remodeling items available

Advise customers about the right products for their individual remodeling needs

Explain to customers the difference in products and performance so they can make selections

Build a rapport with our customers by providing accurate guidance selections

Recommend more than one product option so customers feel we understand their needs

Place orders for customers custom ordered remodeling projects.

Minor cleaning in showroom and around our building.

Light staining and varnish for products needed to complete customers job.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Excellent understanding of color and design for the home

Great Math skills is a must

Ability to pass a background check

Willingness to work every other Saturday and some weeknights till 6PM

Excellent communication and sales skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
