SWIMTASTIC SWIM SCHOOL is Hiring a Red Cross Certified Lifeguard Near Franklin, WI
We are currently hiring for a part-time lifeguard position and looking for a responsible and reliable candidate to join our swim school team! As a lifeguard, your primary responsibility will be ensuring the safety of our students during swim lessons and open swim hours.
The ideal candidate should have an American Red Cross lifeguard certification and prior experience working in a similar role. You should be comfortable working in an indoor pool environment and be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
As a lifeguard, your duties will include monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety rules, responding to any emergencies that may arise, and maintaining the cleanliness of the pool area.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Making sure that all swimmers in the pool area are safe.
2. Keeping an eye out for any hazards or dangerous situations in the pool area.
3. Providing first aid and CPR in case of an emergency.
4. Enforcing pool rules and ensuring that all swimmers follow them.
5. Attending to any minor injuries or illnesses.
6. Maintaining a clean and organized pool area.
7. Continuing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest lifeguard techniques and safety practices.
The physical requirements for this position include standing and walking during the entire shift (often 4-5 hours), bending over, kneeling, pushing, and pulling objects, lifting and moving objects (up to 50 lbs.)
