Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

In this role you will develop, maintain, and specify manufacturing processes to manufacture the company product lines on an economical and efficient basis.

• Responsibilities include: Determine and establish overall manufacturing engineering requirements for items such as but not limited to machinery, equipment, tooling, manufacturing methods and processes, and routings.
• Support shop floor personnel in trouble-shooting process and/or quality problems.
• Prepare routings, process sheets, work instructions, and process drawings as required and establish feeds, speeds, cycle times and other operating parameters for all type of equipment.
• Recommend, justify, and implement the installation of new equipment and processes.
• Analyze, review, and optimize existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency using LEAN manufacturing techniques.
• Assist in the design of products to develop "Design for Manufacturing" parts and processes.
• Identify and implement cost reductions through plant manufacturing operations.
• Experience in implementing processes on various CNC equipment, ability to launch new product to full production and pilot run – PPAP.

• Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, Industrial Technology or related degree
• 8 Years industry related experience with manufacturing technologies, processes, methods, machining, assembly and company operations, product lines and practices or equivalent.
• Demonstrates clear, professional, and respectful verbal and written communication in all interactions, consistent with an inclusive work environment.
• Ability to collaborate with coworkers, shop personnel, and outside vendors.
• Experience using the Lean manufacturing techniques.
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Familiar with CNC programming.
• Possesses very strong analytical abilities.
