Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining organized records.

Duties:

- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming materials
- Prepare items for shipment, including packaging and labeling
- Utilize equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to move materials
- Coordinate with carriers for outgoing shipments
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation
- Assist in picking and packing orders as needed
- Load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner

Experience:

- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting not necessary, but beneficial
- Proficiency in using forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks or willingness to learn
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory purposes
- Experience with picking, packing, loading, and unloading procedures
