We are currently seeking a meticulous and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping Clerk on the afternoon shift. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accurate and prompt processing of all shipping documents, as well as facilitating communication between various departments to ensure the timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review shipping documents with precision and timeliness.
• Communicate shipping updates to customers and internal staff members.
• Collaborate with different departments to coordinate product deliveries.
• Generate packing lists, bills of lading, export papers, and product certifications according to customer specifications.
• Notify supervisors of any significant discrepancies or over-shipments.
• Receive confirmation of received raw materials, chemicals, and non-inventory items.
• Input customer orders and releases for internal departments.

Qualifications:

• Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting less-than-pallet loads of goods onto a hand truck.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer usage and software applications.
• Familiarity with inventory management principles.
• Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
