Location: Fountain Valley, CA 92708
Duration: 13 Week
Shift: 12 hrs Day/Night (Both Shift Available)
Guaranteed hours per week: 36 or 48
Call Requirement-n/a
Weekend Requirement: every other weekend
Float Requirement: as needed in skillset
Pay: $70-80/hour
Duties
- Evaluate and monitor the patients progress.
- Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patients medical condition.
- Deliver regular updates to doctors, patients, and their family members.
- Begin treatment and monitor doses.
- If necessary, respond to a medical emergency and alert the appropriate doctors.
- Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in the ICU unit.
- Complete all necessary paperwork before transferring a patient.
- Maintain patient records.
- Create and implement effective care plans.
- Valid RN license
- BLS,ACLS,NIHSS
- 2 years of experience
Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: ARDS, Sepsis, Neurosurgery, Stroke, Cardiac Surgery, IABP, Impella, CRRT, Multi Organ failure, Shocks
Any special procedure done on the unit?Bronchoscopy, Chest tubes, Central Lines, ICP monitoring, Lumbar drains
Titrate Vasoactive Drips- Epi, NorEpi, Vasopressin, Dopamine, Neosynephrine, Dobutamine, Primacor, Cardizem, Cardene, Amiodorane
