Equity Staffing Group has an excellent opportunity with one of our large engineering clients in the Fort Worth, TX area as a CAD Technician supporting electrical engineering CAD projects! This is an immediate need! Our client is looking for someone with experience working with AutoCAD in a large company setting! This position is looking for an entry level individual with 6 months -5 years of CAD experience working as a Drafter, an Associates in Computer Aided Design and experience with AutoCAD!
$21 - $25/hr. based on experience
Onsite position, office located in Ft. Worth, TX
This is an exciting opportunity to join the fastest growing division of a reputable EPC firm seeking up-and-coming CAD professionals to join their organization. The opportunity will be supporting their Electrical Transmission & Distribution Dept., which is their largest engineering division.
Summary:
• This position is responsible for revising existing drawings and preparing drawings of basic components from explicit verbal or written instructions or detailed sketches
• This position successfully plots drawings
• Learn and follow company and client drafting standards and procedures
• Learns the practices of disciplines within Transmission and Distribution department
Requirements:
• AutoCAD and/or Microstation drafting, design experience
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in CAD related field preferred, or CAD certificate
• 6 months - 5 years of professional CAD experience preferred (note: recent graduates of Associate’s, Bachelor’s CAD/CAD certificate program will be considered)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
