Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mental health care and providing support to patients in need.
Duties:
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor patients' mental health status and response to treatment
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment options
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Master's degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing required
- Valid license and certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Experience in addiction medicine preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, Epic, and ICD-9 coding
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Pay: $58.00 - $70.00 per hour
