Astrix is Hiring a Lab Analyst Near Fort Wayne, IN
- Performing chemical analysis and preparing samples using standard techniques.
- Recording and reporting data and any unusual test occurrences to the supervisor.
- Calibration of instrumentation.
- Competency on complex instrumentation instrument specific software (training is provided).
- Responsible for keeping personal training documentation current and accurate.
- Responsible for timely completion of assigned/scheduled QC samples.
- Understands and utilizes backlog reports to manage personal workload.
- Responsible for performing job functions in compliance with company environmental, health and safety and quality assurance standards.
- 2-4 years of industrial laboratory experience is required.
- BS or BA in chemistry or related field (3 -5 years laboratory experience may substitute for degree).
- EPA method D1633, 537.1 or 533 experience preffered.
- Wet Chemistry, GC-MS, LC-MS experience preferred.
