The Creative Play School is a private preschool located in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Our school strives to provide a rich educational environment for children ages 0 to 5 years old. Our curriculum is based on the belive that children learn through play, no just random play but play with a purpose.

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our team. As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the lead teacher in creating a positive and nurturing learning environment for children. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have a passion for early childhood education and want to make a difference in the lives of young learners.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the lead teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans

- Provide care and supervision to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times

- Support children in their social, emotional, and cognitive development

- Assist with classroom management, including behavior management techniques

- Collaborate with the lead teacher to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom space

- Communicate effectively with parents and families regarding their child's progress

Qualifications:

- Experience working with children, preferably in a preschool or early childhood setting

- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices

- Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

- A passion for early childhood education

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
