Southeast Elevator is Hiring an Installer technician Near Fort Pierce, FL

If you answered yes to all of these questions, we have the perfect job for you! We specialize in installing ADA-compliant wheelchair lifts at various sporting events and concerts across the country.

Our projects include prestigious events like PGA golf tournaments, the Daytona 500, the NFL Draft, Lollapalooza, Live Nation concerts, and Formula-E auto races.

If you watch sports on TV, you've likely seen our completed projects without even realizing it.

Our team arrives several days before the event to install the lifts. We stay on-site throughout the event to ensure a seamless customer experience, troubleshoot any equipment issues, and then dismantle and transport the equipment to the next event once it concludes.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the safe and efficient installation, assembly, and removal of equipment in accordance with project-specific plans and layouts
  • Transports equipment between warehouses and events via truck and trailer.
  • Load and unload equipment and materials from trucks and vehicles via forklift.
  • Inspecting all equipment prior to assembly
  • Study plans and equipment lists prior to on-site installation
  • Make sure that tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained properly at the end of each shift
  • Ensure full client satisfaction in relation to the quality of service and finished product within planned time schedules
  • Other duties, as required

Requirements

  • Background Check and Drug screenings are required
  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools
  • A basic understanding of hydraulics and equipment
  • Forklift-certified and comfortable operating in tight areas
  • No fear of heights
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organized and highly detailed
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team setting to achieve company goals
  • Able to lift up to 75 Ibs.
  • Able to read and understand basic safety instructions
  • Candidates with experience in carpentry, construction, laboring, or events backgrounds would be preferred.
  • Must be capable of working overtime
  • Preferred but not required : Bi-lingual (English and Spanish)
