Our agency is looking for a full time counselor for our outpatient substance abuse program. This job requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a social services type program (criminal justice, psychology, social work, counseling, etc.). The duties of this position include conducting evaluations to determine an appropriate program for the client, teaching group sessions, meeting with their clients on an individual basis, and conducting random drug and alcohol testing as well.

The proper candidate for this position should be open-minded, supportive, and willing to learn and grow within their position. Attention to detail is a must as the selected candidate will be working directly with the court system via probation, local DUI schools, and the Department of Children and Families. The proper candidate will be required to pass a Level II background screening and preemployment drug screen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
