Job Title: Deputy Program Manager (Level I)

Job Summary: The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) at Level I is a key leadership position within the Joint Readiness Training Center Mission Support Contract (JRTC MSC) team. The DPM supports the Program Manager in overseeing the execution of the contract, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, and driving program success. This role requires strong military background, project/program management experience, and a commitment to achieving program objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support to Program Manager: Assist the Program Manager in planning, organizing, and executing program activities to meet contractual obligations and achieve program goals.
  • Contract Compliance: Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, including performance metrics, deliverables, and reporting obligations.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to program staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Resource Management: Assist in the allocation and management of program resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to support program objectives effectively.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including government officials, contractors, and internal team members, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to program success, proactively addressing issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of program deliverables through regular monitoring, evaluation, and improvement of processes and procedures.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor program performance against established metrics and benchmarks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain program documentation, reports, and other required deliverables in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Military experience at the Battalion command level or above (MEL 4 Graduate) is required.
  • Project/program management experience in the Government or private sector at comparable levels of scope and responsibility as the JRTC MSC.
  • Active SECRET-level security clearance
