Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
- Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment
- Provide a variety of learning experiences to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Use effective behavior management techniques to promote positive classroom behavior
- Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational program
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on student performance
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
- Familiarity with literacy education strategies for young children
- Understanding of curriculum development and implementation
