This role will involve managing the entire construction site, supervising the field team, monitoring craft workers and subcontractors, and making sure the project is completed safely, promptly and to a high standard.This position is based in Ft Drum, NYResponsibilitiesComplete ownership of the schedule and subcontractor managementProgress reviews with the ownerBilling percentage reviews with the ownerCoordinating with the site safety and quality control managersSite access for subcontractorsBuilding and maintaining the project schedule, RFIs, inspections, hazard identification, review plans and specifications, compliance, etc.Project Scope of WorkInterior and exterior Renovation of MCRC Building in Folsom PA include site work, roofing, finishes, MEPs.Qualifications10 years’ experience in constructionExperience managing Government projectsExperience with RMSProficient with word, excel, PDFExperience with ProcoreFamiliar with P^ or Microsoft Projects scheduling toolsCan pass a background checkAs a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable references and background check results.Physical RequirementsThis position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to; hard hats, steel toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection.
