US Army TRADOC is Hiring a Training Technician. Near Fort Benning, GA

Duties
  • Coordinate with the leadership and course managers to develop class schedules, plot holidays, and research historical trends to determine training start dates and seat placement.
  • Coordinate with course managers to develop responses to Department of the Army (DA) Training Resources Arbitration Panel (TRAP) requests.
  • Independently responds to numerous and varied weekly requests with short suspense from the Cyber School and CCoE Staff Offices.
  • Serves as a GPC holder for the organization.
RequirementsConditions of Employment
  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • The employee may on occasion be required to work hours other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, or holidays.
  • The incumbent may be required to participate in readiness tests, mobilization exercises, and field training exercises.
  • The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Single Scope Background Investigation (TS/SSBI) with access to Secret Compartmented Information (SCI).
  • The incumbent must be able to possess and maintain access to Intelligence Community facilities and networks.
  • Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450 Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually thereafter.
  • This position is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program.
  • The incumbent is required to sign DA Form 5019-R and must pass urinalysis testing, as required, prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Temporary duty (TDY) business travel is required approximately 10 percent of the time.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one-year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by serving as point of contact on matters pertaining to installation resident training programs, including: tracking program of instruction (POI) training requirements/constraints, training changes, and quota adjustments; evaluating higher headquarters' taskings as they affect the training system; creating sound quality control and accurate records of multiple programs including the General Purchase Card (GPC) program; researching historical trends to determine training resource requirements ensuring these requirements are programmed and resourced for execution; utilizing software products and training systems to prepare statistical data, charts, and graphs containing inputs and training loads on a weekly, quarterly, and annual basis.
