Helen's Hands, LLC is a disabilities service provider based in Lynchburg, VA. Founded in 2012, our company provides services and supports to people of all ages and abilities who experience an intellectual, developmental, or other disability, traumatic brain injury, or mental health challenge.
The Lead DSP works scheduled shifts in the home providing overall management of the assigned home.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure the health and safety of individuals and provides a wide range of services.
- Train on living skills, social and communication skills, and other needed life skills for social independence and community inclusion.
- Lead the team of direct support employees who work in the home, ensuring the implementation of the support plan.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Four years of experience providing direct support services required.
- One year of which involves supervisory experience preferred.
