IMADS Healthcare LLC is Hiring a Caregiver Near Forest, VA

Job Summary:

Family needs a live in caretaker to help assist with a 65-year-old woman who has several chronic illnesses. Duties include daily care that includes

- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals

- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals

- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and organizing living spaces

- Help individuals with meal planning, preparation, and feeding

- Monitor and document changes in individuals' physical and mental well-being

- Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals

- Provide transportation for individuals to appointments or outings

- Utilize proper lifting techniques for heavy lifting tasks

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields preferred

- Knowledge of systems and procedures related to caregiving

- Experience working with people with autism or other developmental disabilities is a plus

- Familiarity with social work principles and practices is beneficial

- Direct support professional certification is a plus

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality

- Experience in dementia care is desirable
