Job Overview:

A Construction Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects, from the initial planning and design phases to the final delivery and handover of the project. Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning:

Collaborate with the client and project stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, and requirements.

Develop a detailed project plan, including a timeline, budget, and resource allocation.

Budget Management:

Create and manage project budgets, monitoring expenses and ensuring cost control throughout the project. Accurately project monthly costs to complete and correct budget in a timely manner.

Evaluate and approve contractor and vendor invoices.

Resource Management:

Coordinate and allocate resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.

Hire, manage, and oversee subcontractors and construction teams.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

Identify potential risks and issues that may impact the project and develop mitigation strategies.

Implement safety measures to ensure a secure work environment.

Quality Assurance:

Monitor and enforce compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure work meets expectations.

Project Scheduling:

Develop and maintain project schedules, including milestones and deadlines.

Ensure that construction progresses according to the established timeline.

Communication:

Act as a liaison between the client, architects, engineers, and contractors, facilitating effective communication.

Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders regarding project status.

Change Management:

Manage changes and modifications to the project scope, ensuring they are documented, approved, and integrated effectively.

Permitting and Regulatory Compliance:

Documentation:

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (sometimes experience can be substituted for formal education).

Proven experience in construction project management, with a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.

Working Conditions:

Construction Project Managers typically work both from remote location and on construction sites. There are two open project management positions, one is intended to cover the Northeastern Continental United States the other is intended to cover the Pacific Northwest United States.

A Construction Project Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects and must possess a combination of technical knowledge, project management skills, and effective communication abilities to excel in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
