Job Title: Credit and Collections Representative
Summary
The Credit and Collections Representative is responsible for activities and operations in the collections department for Daiwa. Collect accounts by contacting customers referred by credit, investigating circumstances of non-payment, negotiating, and resolving conflicts and expediting payments. Processes invoices and send follow-up inquiries regarding payments. Credit reviews chargebacks deductions and manages and negotiates with customers. Credit works with the sales teams and warehouse teams to resolve deduction issues. Investigate and resolve disputed claims. Develop strategies to prevent future chargebacks and ensure compliance . Prepare chargeback report for manager. Support the A/R and Credit team members when needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Credit and Collections function by performing the following duties:

• Chargeback deduction management
• Manages debits and credits
• Ensures tax information on invoices is correct
• Works closely in collaboration with sales team and warehouse
• Investigate and resolve disputed deductions
• Develop strategies to prevent future chargebacks and ensure compliance
• Prepare chargeback report for manager
• Support AR/Credit team members

Credit and Collections by performing the following duties:

• Utilizes all resources for collections (phone calls, email, fax or mail)
• Maintains customer collection notes
• Encourages customers to make minimum payments or if necessary, make payment plans in writing with prior approval from the Corporate Credit Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
