Job Summary:
The newly established P.S.A. on the campus of the Flint Cultural Center is seeking K-5 substitute teachers. This exciting opportunity awaits future teachers and certified professionals who wish to work in a creative and progressive educational environment with a strong emphasis on integrated sciences, fine, and performing arts. In a culture where students love learning and coming to school, substitutes work collaboratively with resource professionals in the Cultural Center to maximize learning.
Required Qualifications:
- 60 College Credit Hours
- Proficient Written and Oral Communication Skills
- Ability to work with K-5 grade students
- Ability to work with underserved youth
- Ability to follow lesson plans
- Ability to be flexible in meeting student's needs
- Ability to use effective classroom management strategies
