EgenKapital, parentcompany of Cannabis Chem Lab (CCL) is a high paced testinglaboratory looking for great teammates. Working under the direction of theLaboratory Director, you will develop the required skills and knowledge to besuccessful.

Responsibilities:

• Have experience with Agilent chromatography instrumentation (HPLC, GC/MS).
• Clean laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Prepare laboratory solutions and chemicals.
• Perform laboratory tests and assays.
• Gather lab supplies needed for tests.
• Communicate with individuals in lab and business office.
• Record data and information.
• Follow standard operating procedures.
• Think critically and creatively on process improvement.

Requirements

• Have a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or biochemistry.
• Have experience in any of the following: Agilent HPLC, Agilent LC/MS, Agilent GC/MS, Thermofisher ICP, and Agilent PCR.
• Have experience in a research, testing, or industrial laboratory, or a laboratory internship in an academic setting. An emphasis will be placed sample preparation (weighing samples and pipetting skills) and analytical techniques (knowledge of instrumentation).
• Have good computer skills, including file and directory creation, email, and Microsoft Office.
• Show teamsmanship: demonstrate ability to communicate, collaborate, and build relationships both within the laboratory and as a representative of the company outside.
• Are fluent in reading, writing, and communicating in English, specifically with reading and writing procedures and reports.
• Are 18 years of age or older.
• Have industry experience in cannabis analytical techniques. (Not a requirement)

Technicians may berequired to work overtime as needed. Changes in business volume and customerrequirements can cause the Lab to occasionally change the length of work shiftsor the schedule. Technicians should be willing to work these longer shifts, ifpossible. Preferences will be taken into consideration, but all employees areexpected to be willing to work extra, as needed.

To perform the workdescribed above in our Lab, technicians will be trained on proper use oflaboratory instrumentation; be required to stand on concrete floors for anextended period, handle or feel, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, tospeak, and to hear. The employee is occasionally required to bend, kneel,crouch, or crawl, lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds. Further, ourtechnicians must have and be able to display skills in Quality Controlprocesses, including operating, maintaining calibrating and cleaning automatedequipment; maintaining accurate records and data; have strong technical,interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; and knowledge of Agilentinstrumentation. Additionally, the safety of our people is of great importanceto us. If the situation warrants it, technicians are asked to wear appropriatepersonal protective equipment (eye protection, ear protection, masks, andprotective clothing) and follow guidance on other job-related safetyprotection.
