You must be able to build trust quickly, ask great questions and leverage that influence with major gift prospects to drive generosity. People describe you as a natural leader, a great communicator, and unstoppable tenacity with a competitive spirit. You are a highly motivated self-starter who can work unsupervised while meeting and/or exceeding quota requirements. You are relaxed in a conference room, a CEO’s office or in a donor’s living room, meeting with both loyal and prospective donors. You have mastered tracking activities in a CRM platform that drives your pipeline and can match donor interests with organizational priorities.  You have excellent organizational skills and prefer face-to-face meetings with prospects/donors and are willing to travel to make those visits more personal. You have consistently achieved selling success, earning more than the average salesperson in a variable comp plan.
