Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lawn Care Specialist to join our team. As a Lawn Care Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of lawns and gardens for our clients. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
Duties:
- Perform groundskeeping tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming lawns
- Irrigate lawns and gardens to ensure proper hydration
- Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers
- Assist with snow plowing during winter months
- Provide tree care services including pruning and removal
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain equipment
- Assist with hardscape projects such as building retaining walls or installing pathways
- Maintain garden beds by weeding, mulching, and fertilizing
- Build and repair fences, decks, or other outdoor structures as needed
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of groundskeeping practices and techniques
- Ability to operate and maintain various lawn care equipment
- Proficiency in snow plowing techniques during winter months
- Knowledge of tree care practices including pruning and removal
- Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Experience with hardscape projects such as building retaining walls or pathways
- Ability to maintain garden beds through weeding, mulching, and fertilizing
