Wild Waves Theme & Water Park is Hiring a Landscape Lead Near Federal Way, WA
POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for helping lead the day-to-day maintenance and aesthetics of the park landscape and multiple landscaping team members. This individual will report to the landscaping supervisor.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for the daily Maintenance and upkeep of vegetation, including mowing, planting, digging, pruning and general clean-up.
- Organization and Delegation of daily tasks to landscaping team.
- Provide direction and supervision of line employees daily.
- Provide coaching and performance management to employees.
- Responsible for maintaining the general landscape of the park, including flower beds, walkways, lawn and wooded areas.
- Responsible for development and upkeep of general park aesthetic.
- Assist with Holiday Promotion event set-up.
- Other Duties as assigned
- Must be 18 years or older with a valid WA state driver’s license.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a similar field
- Ability to work long shifts and various schedules.
- 3 years of landscaping experience
- Experience with irrigation a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively, appropriately and professionally with guests, co-workers and management
- Ability to perform various physical tasks, including lifting, crawling, walking and crouching, while operating basic tools and machinery.
- Must be a self-starter, able to multi-task, able to work independently and have a positive attitude.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is frequently required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to twenty pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level is generally moderate to high.
