Position Details:Type: Full-Time/Contract
Title: Storeroom Technician
Location: Fayetteville, NC
Compensation: $18.00/Hour
Benefits: Eligible for complete benefits package after 60 days
Schedule: 6:30am-3pm M-FThis Position will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Maintains a safe operating environment;
- Provides technical support to the site personnel on materials equipment;
- Maintain inventory of critical parts, instruments, and consumables materials
- Utilizes computerized inventory control system to identify, and track
- Perform a physical counts of inventory and reconcile actual stock count to reports
- Distribute specialized tools and material upon request
- Assist technicians with identifying parts and materials
- Basic system maintenance
- SAP knowledge necessary to set up and maintain parts.
- Work with customers (Labs, Process Maintenance, etc) to make sure we stock the proper items.
- Staged and processed parts necessary for work orders on all equipment
- Maintain inventory of spare parts for the equipment on site.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Other duties as assigned
- Run reports and follow up with vendors to make sure they received purchase orders.
- Follow up on backorders and get ETA for parts to advise our customers.
- Print Pre-Receiving document.
- Verify and compare packing slip to pre-receiving.
- Accurately enter quantities received into SAP.
- Make sure labelled with SAP #.
- Put items away.
- Notes any items back ordered on back order sheet posted in office area.
- Stores personnel must notify Storeroom Manager of any item(s) that they did not receive
- Storeroom Coordinator generates physical inventory documents
- 1) Stores Clerk person counts the parts.
- 2) Storeroom Coordinator enters the counts into inventory documents.
- 3) Clerk posts the counts.
- The same person cannot do all three tasks.
- - Help with daily, direct issues to remove parts from inventory.
- Review dead and slow moving inventory by running reports of items that have not been used in order a year. Then work with customers about how to proceed with these parts in the future.
- Manage and adjust minimum and maximum amounts for parts.
- Adjust storage bins approximately.
- Ship out requested orders and parts to our customers.
- Assist Maintenance personnel with locating items.
- May perform duties in other job classifications as directed.
- Basic computer skills
- Familiarity with CMMS systems, preferably SAP
- Working knowledge of basic industrial communication protocols
- Ability to pass a physical capabilities test (which includes, but is not limited to, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.
