We are looking for a Project Manager to manage a variety of technical Email Marketing projects for one of our key national clients. Essential job functions: Work with diverse teams on a variety of technical projects with a focus on Email Marketing Campaigns Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility and usability. Manage a team responsible for the delivery of a variety of technical projects (e.g., Email Campaigns, Websites, landing pages, online content strategy, lifecycle marketing/CRM, etc.) Lead daily stand-up meetings in order to prioritize work, resources and deadlines. Frequently and effectively communicate key tasks, milestones, dependencies and risks Create appropriate project documentation such as user flows, detailed requirements and tickets to help our internal teams understand what is expected of them, enabling them to deliver quality work in an efficient manner. Manage schedules, budgets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverables are clearly communicated, understood and executed. Document and communicate project status and strategic recommendations on a regular basis; escalate issues accordingly via the appropriate channels. Consistently manage expectations, ensure delivery of the highest quality service, and solicit and act on feedback. Proactively identify risk and develop mitigation plans to minimize risk Oversee project planning and ensure successful completion Optimize or improve existing lifecycle standards and product policies and procedures. Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources working across projects based on scope of work and project goals. Actively monitor project risks and scope to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions; identify refinement opportunities and deliver improvements. Manage timelines. Manage testing with the product team(s) during the QA phase of the projects. Manage project burn rates, specifically the project allocated hours and budget. Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. Adherence to TA’s information security standards, as outlined in company policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: 5 years of technical project management with demonstrated experience with web development, email campaigns, marketing automation campaigns, and automated marketing reports. 5 years managing external client projects in positions of increasing responsibility in an Agency environment. Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile or other project management practices used in iterative development environments. Enthusiasm for identifying ways where agile and traditional methodologies can work for technical and non-technical teams, and interest in expanding those approaches to business processes, cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives. Ability to demonstrate the understanding of client business and technical requirements, to enable the completion of deliverables to the standards expected of the Client. A critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail and thoroughness in approach. Solid decision-making skills; ready to identify and perform job functions with little or no supervision. Strong desire to keep up with emerging technologies and best practices. Exceptional time management skills, including the ability to balance multiple simultaneous project streams with independent, and sometimes competing, timelines. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across multiple teams and at varying levels throughout the organization. Proven experience to manage multiple technical projects at a time. Experience with issue tracking and resolution software. Ability to motivate, support and understand different project teams. Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Experience in key Project Management Applications including Atlassian Suite, Asana, Netsuite, Smartsheet. Preferred Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent experience. Demonstrated project management skills with teams up to 10 people; demonstrated project management leadership skills with direct responsibility for managing project teams, budget and schedule. Ability to weigh business and technical requirements to produce project plans and estimates. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high energy, team-oriented environment.
