Valley Veterinary Clinic in beautiful Farmington, NM is excited for a new Associate Veterinarian to join our team!
***Paid Dentistry or Ultrasound CE Training, Ski Pass***
***Mentorship, Skilled Tech Team, Flexible Scheduling***
Open since 1985, Valley Veterinary Clinic is a small animal general practice that also sees some exotics and practices acupuncture. Our philosophy emphasizes leading-edge diagnostic-based medicine and surgery in a professional, compassionate atmosphere. We strive to provide education to our clients and emphasize that a proactive preventive approach is best for our patient’s health and well-being as well as for our clients’ pocketbooks.
Our building is comprised of the following:
Surgical room
Dental room and dental x-ray
Ultrasound room
X-ray and treatment area with two treatment tables
3 exam rooms
A dedicated cat room and a consult room (5 total rooms)

Our team of outstanding doctors strives to find answers and do what is best for each patient. We encourage an atmosphere of mentorship where practitioner growth is at the forefront. If there is something you want to learn, just ask! We are backed by a dedicated support staff and well-equipped within our state-of-the-art facility. We also offer above-average emergency compensation to our team.
Work-Life Balance
We want you to have a great life and believe the key to success is a healthy work-life balance! We are a close-knit team and help one another when/where needed. There is no "this is not my job" attitude here. We try to take care of our team and acknowledge their hard work and dedication to Valley Vet Clinic. Occasional coffee orders, lunches, and fun games are the norm. We have put on paint nights, scavenger hunts, and a treasure hunt to make things fun and to encourage teamwork. We celebrate the holidays together with fun activities, and management has an open-door policy. We always have each other's back and are here to lend an ear if needed.
Our location makes us the perfect fit for a doctor who enjoys spending time outdoors! Being close to mountains and lakes provides opportunities for camping, hiking, fishing, biking, and more.
We also offer a Ski Pass for our new Veterinarian to enjoy!
The Area
Farmington New Mexico is a "small big town" in the Four Corners Region, where Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico meet. We are surrounded by canyons and mesas, at the junction of three rivers, which all make for spectacular scenery. There is a reason why New Mexico is the Land of Enchantment.
