We are searching for a highly motivated and results-oriented Automotive Manufacturing and Test Equipment Technician to join our dynamic team!
Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify automotive manufacturing and test equipment to optimize system uptime and reliability.
• Oversee equipment modifications for process changes, new model launches, and plant expansions.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all process documentation.
• Prioritize safety by adhering to established protocols and procedures.

Specific Requirements:

• Associate Degree in a technical manufacturing discipline (e.g., Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance) AND 2 years of experience in automation/PLC controls with a focus on industrial maintenance, mechanical & electronic systems, and PC controls.
• OR
• High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of technical maintenance experience combined with 2 years of automation/PLC controls experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical & electronic systems, and PC controls (4 years total experience).
• Adaptable and quick to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work overtime and holidays as needed.
• Successful completion of a computer-based technical knowledge assessment and a hands-on electrical troubleshooting proficiency test (working with live current).
• Must reside within a 75-mile radius of the plant.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting closed-loop servo systems.
• Experience designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting sequential processes.
• Familiarity with high-level programming languages.
• Experience interfacing controls, processes, and feedback devices.
• Knowledge of Human/Machine Interface (HMI) devices and related software.
• Experience with AC variable frequency drives (VFDs).
• Hands-on experience in:

o Three-phase power

• Pneumatic controls
• Siemens PLC S7 systems (highly desirable)
