Job Duties and Responsibilities:

-Looking for an on-call/part-time 2-4 days throughout the week.

-Expected to arrive to on-call assignments between 45min-1hr after the initial call-in.

-An on-call hourly rate will be paid when not called in for an assignment.

-Must be comfortable in taking care of an assigned medical vehicle post training.

Job Title:

The Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver is responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation for patients to and from medical appointments, treatments, and other non-emergency medical-related destinations. The driver will work closely with healthcare professionals and support staff to coordinate transportation needs and ensure that patients receive the highest level of care and service. Duties and Responsibilities: * Transport patients to and from non-emergency medical appointments and treatments * Assist patients in getting in and out of the vehicle as needed * Ensure that all necessary medical equipment, such as wheelchairs and oxygen tanks, is properly secured and transported * Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws while driving * Communicate with dispatch and healthcare professionals to coordinate transportation needs * Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle * Keep track of vehicle logs and other documentation as required * Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities Qualifications: * Valid driver's license and clean driving record * Ability to pass a background check and drug test * Have an active or in progress of receiving a BLS certification * Experience in medical transportation or healthcare preferred * Ability to lift and maneuver medical equipment as needed
