Summary:

• We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer II with a Public Trust clearance to join the Info Security Identity Access Portfolio team at USPS Gatehouse Center. The role involves supporting Authorization Management, developing security architectures, and ensuring secure and consistent IT enterprise architecture.

Clearance: Public Trust

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security architecture across various applications, including cloud computing.
• Create actionable security blueprints, models, designs, standards, and guidelines.
• Review user needs and IT architectural guidelines to assess and integrate system designs.
• Document design specifications, installation instructions, and system-related information.
• Identify security gaps, compare protection requirements to security guidance, and provide remediation recommendations.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Extensive experience (5 years) in information security operations or related IT operational functions.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Security (Master's Degree preferred).
• One or more certifications desired:
  • CompTIA Net
  • CompTIA A
  • CompTIA Security
  • CPTE - Certified Penetration Testing Engineer or CEH - Certified Ethical Hacker
