RIVER CITY DENTISTRY is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Falls, ID

We are a privately owned, single dentist office in Post Falls, ID, seeking a talented and detail-oriented Dental Assistant. Our employee of 7 years is moving on for further schooling, and we need someone with the same work-ethic and desire to provide quality dental care to our patients and to proficientlly assisst the Doctor.

The right candidate will have:

  • A positive, sincere, trustworthy and friendly personality
  • A professional appearance
  • Confidence in the basics of assisting, sterilization, and laboratory duties
  • Knowledge of digital x-rays and Dentrix dental software
  • Capable of educating and explaining procedures to patients
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail
  • Assertive and a go-to personality that sees what needs to be done
  • A desire to communicate and contribute to a healthy work environment

Main duties include chairside assisting for general dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, and implants. Other responsibilities involve implementing proper infection control, conducting 3D scans/impressions, and communicating with various dental labs. Additionally, our assistants are cross-trained to provide a seamless visit from front office to back. You may need to help the receptionist with phone calls, collections, and scheduling.

Dental experience and knowledge required. Dentrix software experience preferred. Our office hours are Mon-Wed 7:30-5:00pm and Thurs 6:45-3:00pm. Looking to hire for all business hours, approximately 33 hours per week.
