In addition, this position provides management and leadership direction to assure the company’s products and processes align with regulatory, customer requirements and the overall values of the Company. Responsibilities:Ensure full deployment and compliance with a Quality Management System (QMS)Manage all internal audit functions and serve as external audit liaison for all regulatory and compliance auditsManage all quality department personnel and assures department objectives are maintained and exceededAssist in identifying, developing and implementing facility wide process improvements.Manage, maintain and develop a safety compliance program to meet all internal and external requirements and assure safety compliance program appropriately mitigates risksDesign, implement, and manage a QMS capable of meeting all customer requirementsMaintain and ensure compliance with relevant certifications including, but not limited to, AS9100:2016 and ISO 9001:2015Establish and communicate strategic goals to the Quality DepartmentAct as a backup for direct reports, when required, for critical activities to maintain plant and quality operationsMaintain compliance with all hazardous waste reporting and compliance programsPromote, devise, establish and drive improvement in the Company’s quality procedures, standards and specificationsPlan, monitor and analyze key metricsOther Duties:Develop, manage and exceed all department objectives and metricsDeliverables/MetricsMaintain Quality budgetMaintain Boeing quality ratingMaintain updated tracking and updates of all corrective actions within QMSMaintain compliance with customer requirements Maintain quality satisfaction Maintain safety and training gapsMaintain Customer complaintsThis Description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of duties and responsibilities that are required of this position. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be created at any time with or without as determined by the Company.Abilities:Ability to interpret and process data in an analytical mannerComputer operational skills and understanding of ERP systemsDemonstrated knowledge of performance improvement and quality managementDemonstrated understanding of OSHA/DNR compliance requirementsSuperior verbal and written communication skills required, with proven experience Managing effective teams and continuous improvements**Position manages the Quality and Compliance Department and has 2 – 4 direct reports QualificationsMinimum 5 years’ experience in quality improvement and risk management preferred.Additional InformationThe right person for this exciting position should be able to:Lift and move objects up to 40 lbs. as necessaryModerate physical activities, which may include pulling, pushing, lifting, reaching, bending, and repetitive movements Able to stand on feet for most of shift, work with the processes on the plant floor, and work flexible hours as needed to administer quality programs across all shiftsAble to tell differences in printed colors and compare to color standards for quality control auditsPass a background check as well as a drug testBe legally authorized to work in the United States and be a US persons
