SAK CONSTRUCTION is Hiring a Construction Estimator Near Fallon, MO

SAK Construction is one of the fastest growing pipeline rehabilitation and tunneling contractors in the U.S. We are seeking an Estimator to join our team O’Fallon, MO. As an industry leader in cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) and tunnel construction, SAK provides the opportunity to work with some of the most talented and accomplished professionals in the industry. Responsibilities:

  • Attend pre-bid meetings with owners, engineers, consultants, etc.
  • Read plans and specifications to identify requirements of project bids.
  • Perform plan take-offs for self-performed and subcontractor scopes of work.
  • Prepare design calculations for cured-in-place pipe projects.
  • Estimate anticipated project costs for pipe rehabilitation work.
  • Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor quotes.
  • Provide project support for production, safety, quality, and project management.
  • Assist in contract execution, budget uploads, and project start-up.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering, preferably Civil or Geotechnical.
  • B.S. Degree in Construction Management, Mathematics, or Finance will be considered with relative construction and estimating experience.
  • 3-10 years of heavy civil construction experience required.
  • 2-5 years of Estimating experience is a plus.
  • Storm Drainage, Sanitary Sewer, or municipal environment experience is also a plus.
  • Must have a solid understanding of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
