CNC Programmer/Operator

Longstanding Jamestown area manufacturer seeking a CNC Machinist who is self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and team oriented with the ability to work independently.

Candidate should possess both good communication and problem-solving skills.

Candidate must have the knowledge & ability to perform the following tasks:

*Creating Jigs and Fixtures

*Setting up and operating both manual and CNC milling machines, Lathes, drill presses, horizontal router machining center, and other machining operations.

*Set up and nest individual jobs.

*Read and interpret shop drawings, and specifications.

*Use programs and layouts to operate machines to cut and trim parts and materials from an assortment of materials, according to specifications.

*Read shop drawings and specifications to determine machine setup, quantity, and finish dimensions.

*Knowledge of Windows Operating System including but not limited to folder navigation, directories, copying and pasting, transferring files, and multiple screen navigation.

*Intermediate Mechanical skills.

*Intermediate CAD (3D Modeling) operation.

*Ability to lift 75 lbs.

Education/Experience in CNC Machining (programming & operating) required.

Starting Salary Range: $37,425 - $41,500 (plus overtime when available)

Starting salary will commensurate with factors including experience & education.
