Summary: SKF Aerospace is a first-tier supplier to the global aviation industry and much more. We design & manufacture complex, high performance, high-value bearings in steel and advanced ceramics. Our production group, technologies, & products are at the heart of aerospace industry and the world's leading aircraft jet engine & gearbox manufacturers at our Falconer, NY location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR)
  • Balloon customer drawings.
  • Prepare AS9102 Forms.
  • Gather material certifications.
  • Populate AS9102 Forms with variable data.
  • Prepare FAIR packages for Quality Assurance review.
  • Manage the FAIR repository.
• Documentation Control Coordinator
  • Update Falconer controlled documents as outlined in a document change form.
  • Coordinate customer approval of revised documents.
  • Manage the distribution of controlled documents per the Documentation Control Database.
  • Update the electronic documentation control repository with revised documents.

• Frozen Process Management
  • Support Quality Assurance Engineers with managing changes to customer frozen process.

• Quality Improvement Initiatives

• Workflow Improvement
  • Support Quality Assurance Engineers with improvement initiatives to current processes.
  • Create and maintain databases and spreadsheets.

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong computer skills (MS Word, MS Access, Excel, Powerpoint).
• Preferred candidates will have a two year degree in Engineering, Quality, Information Technology or Business.
