PHB, Inc. located in Fairview Pennsylvania, has an immediate opening for a MACHINE REPAIR TECHNICIAN at the Machining Division on 3rd shift. As a Machine Repair Technician, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining various types of machinery in our manufacturing facility. You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products.

Duties:

• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment
• Determine the cause of machine trouble, plan repair parts needed, look up part numbers, and recommend to Maintenance Supervisor repair parts needed
• Make repairs to machines and equipment.
• Assist in maintaining spare parts area for machines
• Perform job assignments from work order form, filling out properly, with sign off in a timely manner
• Assist in the installation of new equipment and machines
• Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
• Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures
• Coordinate and recommend solutions to major machine problems with maintenance and machine shop supervisors
• Perform basic machine preventative maintenance
• Perform routine shop maintenance duties
• Able to work overtime
• Work extra hours when called in for emergencies
• Responsible for building and grounds duties when not actively working on machinery
• Perform other maintenance duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous CNC maintenance experience
• Experience with basic mechanics, electrical, plumbing, welding
• Forklift experience
• Experience working in a manufacturing setting
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong work ethic, overtime required as needed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
